Family by Water

Planning the perfect family vacation can be both exciting and overwhelming. You want a destination that has something for everyone, from thrilling activities for the kids to relaxing moments for the adults. Family vacation packages all-inclusive offer an ideal solution, combining convenience, value, and endless fun into one seamless experience. Whether you’re dreaming of a magical escape to Walt Disney World, an adventure-filled trip to Universal Orlando, or a serene beach getaway to Hawaii or a luxury resort like Sandals or Beaches, this guide will help you find the best all-inclusive family vacation that suits your needs.

What Are All-Inclusive Family Vacation Packages?

An all-inclusive family vacation package typically covers accommodations, meals, drinks, and a variety of activities, all bundled together at one price. This means no surprises when it comes to your final bill, allowing you to relax and focus on making memories with your loved ones. While many people associate all-inclusive packages with beach resorts, there are also options for theme park vacations and other family-friendly destinations.

Here’s why all-inclusive family vacation packages are a great choice for your next getaway:

1. Convenience: With everything organized and prepaid, there’s no need to worry about extra costs or planning individual activities.
2. Value: By bundling accommodations, food, and entertainment, you often save money compared to booking everything separately.
3. Variety of Activities: Most all-inclusive packages offer activities tailored to different age groups, ensuring that everyone in the family has fun.
4. Stress-Free Dining:  Meals are typically included, so you don’t have to search for family-friendly restaurants or worry about food costs.

Top Family Vacation Destinations for All-Inclusive Packages

There are numerous destinations that cater to families looking for an all-inclusive experience, each offering unique attractions and activities. Let’s explore some of the best options:

1. Walt Disney World, Florida
Walt Disney World is the epitome of family vacation destinations. With four theme parks, two water parks, and countless entertainment options, there’s something for every age group to enjoy. While Disney doesn’t offer traditional all-inclusive packages, you can create a customized vacation that includes accommodations, dining plans, and park tickets.

– Disney Dining Plan: Although temporarily unavailable as of 2024, Disney previously offered dining plans as part of their vacation packages, which included meals and snacks at a variety of on-site restaurants. When available, this adds convenience and value to your trip.
– Resort Options: Disney’s on-site resorts cater to families, from budget-friendly options like Disney’s All-Star Resorts to luxury stays at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa.
– Activities for All Ages: From character meet-and-greets to thrilling rides, parades, and firework shows, Walt Disney World has endless entertainment that appeals to the whole family.

2. Universal Orlando Resort, Florida
Universal Orlando offers a mix of theme parks, resorts, and attractions that appeal to families looking for both adventure and relaxation. While not typically all-inclusive, Universal offers vacation packages that bundle park tickets, accommodations, and extras like express passes.

– Theme Parks: Universal Studios Florida, Universal’s Islands of Adventure, and Universal’s Volcano Bay water park offer a wide range of rides, shows, and attractions. Highlights include the Wizarding World of Harry Potter and Jurassic Park-themed areas.
– Family-Friendly Hotels: Stay at one of Universal’s on-site hotels, which range from budget to luxury. Some hotels offer early park admission and free transportation to the parks.
– Dining: Universal’s vacation packages can include dining plans that make it easy to manage meals during your stay.

3. Beaches Resorts, Caribbean
Beaches Resorts are designed with families in mind, offering all-inclusive packages that cater to every member of the family. These luxury resorts are located in Jamaica and Turks & Caicos, providing stunning beachfront settings with world-class amenities.

– All-Inclusive Perks: At Beaches Resorts, everything is included—from gourmet dining to kids’ activities, water sports, and even childcare services.
– Kids’ Programs: Beaches offer a wide range of activities for kids of all ages, including supervised kids’ clubs, teen lounges, and fun character experiences with Sesame Street characters.
– Adult Amenities: While the kids are busy, adults can enjoy spa treatments, golf, or relaxing on the pristine beaches.

4. Sandals Resorts, Caribbean
While Sandals is primarily known as a couples’ resort, it offers incredible family vacation packages through its affiliated Beaches Resorts. The all-inclusive packages at Sandals include luxury accommodations, gourmet dining, and access to a variety of family-friendly activities.

– Luxury Accommodations: Choose from stunning suites with beachfront views or family villas with plenty of space for everyone.
– Endless Activities: Families can enjoy water sports, live entertainment, and access to nearby attractions.

5. Hawaii
Hawaii is a dream destination for many families, offering a combination of natural beauty, adventure, and relaxation. While traditional all-inclusive resorts are rare in Hawaii, there are vacation packages that bundle accommodations, activities, and meals for an easier experience.

– Resorts and Hotels: Consider staying at Aulani, a Disney Resort & Spa, for a family-friendly experience with activities like character breakfasts, storytelling sessions, and a water park.
– Outdoor Activities: Hawaii’s beautiful beaches, hiking trails, and cultural experiences make it a perfect destination for families who love nature and adventure.
– Package Deals: Some Hawaiian resorts offer packages that include breakfast, resort credits, and discounts on activities, making it easier to plan your trip.

Benefits of Choosing an All-Inclusive Package for Families

Booking an all-inclusive family vacation package has several benefits that make traveling with kids easier and more enjoyable:

1. Cost Savings: Bundling your travel expenses into one package often saves money. It also prevents unexpected costs from popping up during your trip.
2. Simplified Planning: With an all-inclusive package, you don’t have to worry about organizing every detail of your vacation, which reduces stress and allows you to focus on having fun with your family.
3. Variety of Experiences: From beach activities and water parks to theme parks and nature excursions, all-inclusive packages provide a wide range of entertainment options that cater to everyone’s interests.
4. Safety and Security: All-inclusive resorts typically offer secure environments with staff on hand to assist with any needs, providing peace of mind for parents.

How to Choose the Right All-Inclusive Family Vacation Package

When selecting a family vacation package all-inclusive, consider these factors:

– Age-Appropriate Activities: Make sure the destination offers activities that suit the ages and interests of your children.
– Budget: Compare different packages to find one that fits your family’s budget while offering the amenities and experiences you desire.
– Location: Choose a destination that aligns with your family’s vacation style, whether it’s the excitement of a theme park or the tranquility of a beach resort.
– Dining Options: Look for packages that offer flexible dining plans with options for both kids and adults.

Spring Getaway – Group Cruise on the Norwegian Joy to Bermuda

From New York City – May 19-24, 2024

Explore Bermuda’s Three Regions

Spring Getaway – Group Cruise on the Norwegian Joy to Bermuda.

For hundreds of years, Bermuda’s West End has been the marine hub of the Island. Home to the historic Royal Naval Dockyard, it’s now a busy cruise ship port and a hub for sightseeing, shopping, dining, and entertainment. With its rich maritime history, it’s no surprise that the West End is best explored by land and sea. Stroll through the Dockyard, take a dip at Snorkel Park Beach, and venture to Somerset Village, one of Bermuda’s prettiest places. Slow down and soak up centuries of history blended with fresh discoveries, like colourful craft shops and markets.

A blend of cultures, unique neighbourhoods, and breathtaking natural wonders pack Bermuda’s deceptively small 21 square miles with incredible things to see, do, and discover. See Gombey dancers swaying and jumping in time to the infectious beats of steel drums and shrieking whistles. Watch vibrant patterned kites bobbing in the breeze overhead. Get familiar with the island’s three delightfully different regions – West End, Central Bermuda, and East End – and enjoy a little taste of our local culture.

National Geographic Expeditions Announces Full Lineup of 2023 Signature Land Trips

By: Disney Destinations
May 18, 2022

Below are a few of the Adventures you and your family can Journey to on a National Geographic Adventure!

Discover the Difference

Over the past 130 years, the National Geographic Society has sent scientists, storytellers, and adventurers across continents and into remote cultures, down to the oceans’ depths and up the highest mountains in an effort to better understand our planet. National Geographic Expeditions grew from this legacy as a way to invite others to explore—to encounter the wonders of the world up close, in depth, right at the source, and to be transformed by the experience.

Access: Closer Than You’ve Ever Imagined
National Geographic opens doors around the globe: Our relationships with scientists, storytellers, museums, and active research sites allow us special access to places and people, including our own grantees, whose field sites we visit wherever we can. Traveling with us, you go behind the scenes to get a close-up view of work that’s helping illuminate and protect the world’s cultural and natural treasures, from archaeological excavations in Italy to whale conservation in Alaska to the celebration of an ancient Aboriginal culture in the Australian outback.

Knowledge: Let Our Experts Guide You
You gain knowledge when you travel with National Geographic—whether you’re face-to-face with an elephant in the Serengeti, listening to a wildlife biologist explain its every move, or gazing up at prehistoric cave paintings with a paleontologist in France. From the scientists, photographers, and explorers who lead our trips to the local guides and experts we meet in the field, you’ll be surrounded by people who are steeped in knowledge and insights about the places we go. And they’re passionate about sharing that knowledge with you.

Give Back: When You Travel with Us, You Make a Difference
When you travel with us, you support the National Geographic Society’s researchers and explorers who work to preserve, protect, and advance our understanding of the planet and its people. Every year, the Society awards more than 575 grants to scientists, educators, innovators, and storytellers around the world.
