Disney Dining General Information

At the Walt Disney World Resort there are over 500 different types of dining experiences to enjoy.  Sample everything from fine dining and dinner shows to counter service and Character Dining. The variety of flavors stretches across the globe. If adventurous, savor the trendiest cuisines and try something new. For the finicky eaters, enjoy homestyle favorites with special Disney touches. Don’t forget the signature Disney Character Dining. It is a great way to meet favorite friends “up-close and personal” as the Characters visit tables for autographs, photos, and laughs.

Types of Dining Services

There are three types of dining service at Disney World including:

  • Quick-Service Dining
Includes counter service, food courts, lounges and bars. Reservations not accepted.

    • Family Style:  Dishes of food from a set menu are placed on the table for self selection.
    • Set Plate: Meal is pre-plated with all diners receiving the same items.

Advance dining reservations are highly recommended at all full-service locations and may be required at some locations.

  • In-Room Dining

Special Dietary Needs

For guests with special dining needs and requests, Disney chefs are world famous for creating the seemingly impossible.

All Walt Disney World® Full Service restaurants which accept reservations can accommodate special dietary needs associated with allergies or intolerances. These include but are not limited to allergies such as gluten/wheat, shellfish, soy, lactose/milk, peanuts, tree nuts, fush or eggs. If you have any questions regarding any Special Dietary Needs please email: Special.Diets@disneyworld.com

Special Dietary needs can be accommodated if ordered at least 72 hours in advance by calling 407-WDW-DINE. Please alert the reservation agent to all allergies or intolerances and which member(s) of the dining party they refer to. In some instances, further communication with the dining location may be required to ensure best service.

Upon check-in at the dining location, Guests should re-verify their special dietary needs with the seating host/ess.

Many Resort restaurants now offer allergy-friendly menus to address these food intolerances—and many are able to accommodate lifestyle requests as well, such as low-fat, low-sodium, no-sugar-added and vegetarian options—often with no advance arrangements!

For all Full Service restaurants, Guests should advise their server at the location upon being seated. Most Quick Service locations offer a menu variety that will accommodate most lifestyle dining options.  Guests can refer to their Theme Park guidemaps for locations marked with the “red apple” symbol.

Kosher Meals

Most Walt Disney World® Full Service restaurants which accept reservations* can accommodate kosher meal requests when ordered at least 24 hours in advance by calling 407-WDW-DINE. A credit card guarantee is required with a cancellation penalty only if the reservation is cancelled within 24 hours or there is a no show. The kosher meals offered are produced by Weberman Foods, are Glatt Kosher and certified by the OK Kosher Certification Organization. Meal choices and prices will vary depending upon the location.

Halal Meals

Halal meals can be accommodated at select restaurants. Halal meals should be requested 24 hours in advance by calling (407) WDW-DINE or (407) 939-3463. Guests under 18 years of age must have parent or guardian permission to e-mail.

When making Disney Dining reservations either by phone or online using your My Disney Experience account make sure to note any Dietary requests at that time.
