As some of you may know when making Disney Dining Reservations in the past Disney would require a Credit Card to hold a reservation for Character Dining Locations, Signature Dining or Shows. Starting on November 19, 2013 this will change. From then on when you book any table-service restaurant (Sit Down Location with a Server) you will be now required to put your Credit Card information in the system when making those reservations. They will not charge your credit card at that time. They will charge you a $10 per person cancellation FEE if you do not cancel your reservations at least one day in advance.
Disney Dining Reservations Requirement Changes should have a good impact on the Disney Dining system. In the past, If you were booked at a Table Service Restaurant that did not require a credit card hold, you did not necessarily need to cancel that reservation. If you did not show up the reservation would automatically cancel with in 15 minutes after your reserved time. So by putting in the credit card information and making people more conscious it will help FREE up reservations for other guests.
