New! Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party News: Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party on Friday, December 18, 2015 is officially Sold Out. There are remaining Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party events available on: November 29 and December 1, 3, 4, 6, 8, 10, 11, 13, 15, 17.
Reminder! Changes to Main Street U.S.A Show times: The show times for the Main Street Trolley Show and Move it! Shake it! Dance and Play it! will be adjusted Nov 25 and Dec 2 & Dec 9. On these dates, The Main Street Trolley show will use the Main Street fire truck and Move it! Shake it! Dance and Play it! will occur at 12:30pm and 5:00pm.
New! Made with Magic Products Now Available: As of Nov 25, Made with Magic products including the Mickey Ear Hat, Minnie Mouse Headband, Mickey Mouse Glove and the Sorcerer Mickey Wand are now available at Epcot. These products (with the exception of the wand which has the ability to alter the light patters of all Made with Magic products) are programmed to light up at key moments around World Showcase. Made with Magic merchandise can be purchased at Gateway Gifts, the kiosk outside Disney Traders, Pin Central, Mouse Gear, Village Traders, American Adventure Cart, International Gateway and Canada Cart for $25 each.
New! Acoustic Group Debuts at UK Pavilion: The 4 member band Quickstep has made their Epcot debut. Quickstep features authentic songs draw from Scottish, English and Irish traditions. They create lively, acoustic performances, featuring fiddle, flute, highland bagpipes, a traditional Irish frame drum and more. They are currently performing every Wednesday to Sunday, just off the High Street along Tudor Lane at the United Kingdom pavilion at Epcot.
Reminder! Holidays Around the World Returns Nov 27: During Holidays Around the World, each international pavilion throughout World Showcase has something to offer – whether it’s a dance or musical performance, or a storytelling opportunity for guests to enjoy. Guests also don’t want to miss two major musical opportunities offered at the park during this time – the Candlelight Processional and “Joyful! A Gospel Celebration of the Season.” As a reminder, For the 2015 holiday season, new live musical performances by American Music Machine are being added to the mix. American Music Machine will be rocking around the Fountain Stage, performing both modern and nostalgic holiday hits, including “White Christmas,” “Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer” and “All I Want for Christmas is You.”
New! International Treats at Holidays Around the World: Starting soon for Holidays Around the World, each country celebrates through extraordinary holiday treats—most sweet, but a few savories. These goodies only last through the holidays!
- Mexico – Sweet tamales.
- Norway – Frozen Peppermint Trifle; Traditional Rice Cream.
- China – Kaikouxiao (Happy Face Fried Cake).
- Germany – Stollen, the classic holiday fruit bread; Glühwein, a hot spiced wine; Werther’s Original specialty drinks and treats, and a German artisanal cheese plate.
- Italy – Prosecco sparkling wine and Panettone (Italian Christmas bread).
- American Adventure – Start with a peek at the edible United States Capitol Building and Washington Monument (starting December 1) made out of 50 pounds of gingerbread.
- On the promenade at American Adventure, The Sugar and Spice shop (open November 27) is the place for treats for the Candlelight Processional. You’ll find peppermint bark, gingerbread cookies, chocolate chunk cookies, holiday tree sugar cookies, hot chocolate, eggnog, hot chocolate with peppermint Schnapps, and eggnog with Buffalo Trace Kentucky Bourbon.
- Japan – A savory grilled Kurobuto pork sausage with pineapple and onions and Hitachino Ginger Beer.
- Morocco – honey chocolate baklava.
- France – A classic Buche de Noel au Chocolat (chocolate Christmas log) and a special glace à la cannelle et noix de pecan caramélisées (cinnamon ice cream and caramelized pecans).
- United Kingdom – Hot applejack cider.
- Canada – Pecan maple bark.
- Promenade Refreshments – A little savory, a little sweet: a warm turkey sandwich on cranberry bread with mashed potatoes and gravy; peppermint sundae, chocolate grasshopper, hot chocolate, hot chocolate with Godiva Coffee Liqueur and Red Hook Winterhook Ale.

New! Dates Announced for Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival: The 23rd Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival will take place at Epcot March 2 – May 30, 2016. The 2016 Festival is expanding from 75 days to 90. Making their topiary debut at the park’s front entrance will be Donald Duck’s mischievous nephews Huey, Dewey and Louie along with Donald and Daisy. And to celebrate the National Parks Service centennial, Ranger Mickey Mouse will join for the first time in Future World. A new Floral Sun garden that will celebrate the brightest star in Earth’s orbit with yellow “sunbursts” across Future World. Outdoor Kitchens, Cars-themed play area and Garden Rocks concert series will all return next year.
Disney’s Hollywood Studios
New! Disney’s Hollywood Studios Hours Extended: Disney’s Hollywood Studios will be extending operating hours on several upcoming dates. The park will close at 9:00pm instead of 8:30 pm on Dec 4, 2015. In addition, Disney’s Hollywood Studios will close at 9:30pm instead of 8:30 pm on Nov 25 and Dec 5, 2015.
New! Star Wars-inspired Experiences Open Next Week: Starting Dec. 1, Guests at Disney’s Hollywood Studios will be able to enjoy more Star Wars experiences every day with Star Tours: The Adventure Continues, Star Wars Launch Bay, Star Wars: Path of the Jedi, and Jedi Training: Trials of the Temple. Star Wars Launch Bay will take guests into the Star Wars saga and the upcoming film, Star Wars: The Force Awakens, with special exhibits and peeks behind-the-scenes, special merchandise and opportunities to encounter Chewbacca and Darth Vader. Star Tours – The Adventures Continue will be home to a brand new adventure inspired by the upcoming film, Star Wars: The Force Awakens. During the opening months, everyone who rides Star Tours will experience the new adventure, but after that it will be random again. “Star Wars: Path of the Jedi” will feature scenes from the complete Star Wars saga, also giving anyone new to theStar Wars galaxy an opportunity to get acquainted with the films. Last, but not least, is Jedi Training: Trials of the Temple, which will open in early December. This reimagined Jedi Training experience will take younglings to the secret site of an ancient Jedi temple where they will face Darth Vader along with the Seventh Sister – a new villain from the Disney XD series “Star Wars Rebels.”
New! Holidays Happen Here Dance Party: Each evening during this holiday season, Guests at Disney’s Hollywood Studios can attend a dance party at the park’s Center Stage. A DJ will play festive holiday music and some surprise Disney friends may even join in on the dancing. The party will take place each day from 5pm through park closing.
Disney’s Animal Kingdom
New! Flights of Wonder to Add FastPass+: Beginning November 25, Guests can select Flights of Wonder as one of their three experiences at Disney’s Animal Kingdom theme park.
New! Riverside Depot Debuts Dec 8th: Riverside Depot is a large merchandise location connected to Disney Outfitters. This retail location will be themed to animals found in and around rivers, and it will offer Disney character gifts and souvenirs. Riverside Depot is scheduled to open Dec 8.
New! Tiffins Restaurant Coming in 2016: Tiffins will celebrate the art of traveling, featuring a diverse menu drawing from places that inspired the creation of Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Open for both lunch and dinner, Tiffins will also include waterfront views from comfortable indoor and outdoor seating areas. And if you’re wondering about the story behind the name, “tiffin” is an Indian English word for a midday meal or a type of container used to carry food while traveling.
New! Additional Details Released on Rivers of Light: When it opens in Spring 2016, the show will take place on Discovery River between Discovery Island and Expedition Everest – take a close look and you can you see the Tree of Life in the background. In “Rivers of Light,” a pair of mystical hosts come to the river bearing gifts of light. During the show, the hosts set out from the shore on elaborate lantern vessels for a dramatic dance of water and light to summon animal spirits. With the storytellers as your guides, the wonders of “Rivers of Light” builds to a stunning crescendo. In addition to the show, you’ll also notice the park’s iconic Tree of Life will undergo an amazing awakening as the animal spirits of the tree are brought to “light” by magical fireflies, revealing moments of wonder and enchantment.

New! Specialty Thanksgiving Cupcake at Disney’s Contemporary Resort: Contempo Cafe at Disney’s Contemporary Resort will offer a special apple cranberry pie cupcake on Thursday, Nov 26. It’s a vanilla cupcake with apple cranberry pie filling and cream cheese frosting that’s garnished with red crystal sugar, a pretzel stick stem and fondant leaf. It’s only available on Thanksgiving!
New! Restaurant Hours Extended at Disney’s Contemporary Resort: Chef Mickey’s and The Wave…of American Flavors will have special extended hours for the holidays. Chef Mickey’s will start serving dinner at 12:30pm on Thanksgiving Day. The Wave will also be extending their hours on Thanksgiving to offer the holiday buffet at 12:30pm. The Wave Lounge will be open until 2am each night through Jan. 2.
Reminder! Electrical Water Pageant Schedule Changes: The Electrical Water Pageant is a show that travels around the Seven Seas Lagoon and Bay Lake for the guests of the Magic Kingdom and Magic Kingdom area resorts. The Electrical Water Pageant will start 30 minutes earlier on Thursdays and Fridays from November 12 to December 18. The temporary schedule is as follows on those evenings:
- Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort – Beginning at 8:30pm
- Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa – Beginning at 8:45pm
- Disney’s Wilderness Lodge – Beginning at 9:00pm
- Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground – Beginning at 9:15pm
- Disney’s Contemporary Resort – Beginning at 9:45pm (when Wishes take place, the Pageant will begin shortly after its conclusion)
- Magic Kingdom Park Beginning at 10:05pm – right outside the park entrance

New! World of Disney Expansion Now Open: Disney Springs continues to grow and part of that expansion includes a 6,000-foot increase at World of Disney. The World of Disney now has wider aisles, centralized checkout, three additional rooms, new displays and ceiling murals and a fresh new look.
New! Disney Springs is on Instagram: Disney Springs is now on Instagram. Follow the official Disney Springs account with @DisneySprings. Share photos with #DisneySprings for a chance to have your photo featured.
New! Ganachery to Open at Disney Springs on Dec 15: A whole new experience for Walt Disney World Resort guests debuts December 15 at Disney Springs – the Ganachery, which will showcase hand-crafted chocolate! Disney Pastry Chef Stefan Riemer has spent the last couple of years on an international quest for the world’s best chocolate for this stylish new boutique. The trend in the United States is dark chocolate, and the Ganachery uses a bold, 65 percent dark chocolate made with a touch of vanilla. The shop offers both milk and dark so that there is something for everyone. Even the boxes will be a work of art – big flavors wrapped in tiny, beautiful boxes are a lovely souvenir. To add an element of delicious whimsy, nine varieties of custom-made chocolate bars (not made in house) celebrate Disney’s iconic destinations and the “Fab Five” (Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Goofy, Pluto and Donald Duck). The Aulani bar is white chocolate with pineapple and coconut; the Disneyland Paris bar is dark chocolate with liquid caramel and fleur de sel; the Disneyland Resort bar is milk chocolate with raisins and almonds (an ode to California’s top crops); the Minnie bar is milk chocolate with dried strawberries.

Nov. 27 – 28: Ashley Eckstein from Her Universe will be on hand for a special appearance and signing, Nov. 27 from 2 – 4 p.m. and Nov. 28 from 3 – 5 p.m. in Watto’s Grotto at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
Nov. 28 – 29: Look for new releases from Disney Traditions artist Jim Shore, who will appear Nov. 28 from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. at Heritage Manor in Epcot and Nov. 29 from 10a.m. – 1p.m. at Art of Disney in Disney Springs Marketplace.
