New! Olaf Snowgies Featured on Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom Cards: Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party returns to Magic Kingdom Park November 8, and this year Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom fans can pick up a special event-exclusive game card on party nights. This year’s event-exclusive card features Olaf and his “snowgies.” The “Olaf’s Snowgies” card will be distributed in addition to the regular Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom card packs. Guests can pick it up at either the Magic Kingdom Firehouse or the Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom location behind Ye Olde Christmas Shoppe. Guests must register to play with their party ticket and event wristband in order to get one.
Reminder! Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party Events Begin Soon: Start planning for a marvelous gathering with family, friends and some familiar Disney faces. Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party offers magic, cheer and enchantment for Guests of every age—it’s truly a time for wishes to come true! Held from 7:00 PM to 12:00 AM at Magic Kingdom park, this annual yuletide event will take place in 2015 on the following dates:
- November 8, 10, 12, 13, 15, 17, 19, 20 and 29
- December 1, 3, 4, 6, 8, 10, 11, 13, 15, 17 and 18
New this year, the acclaimed contemporary a cappella group VoicePlay bring their amazing talents to the Rockettower Plaza Stage in Tomorrowland. VoicePlay, who appeared on the TV show “The Sing-Off,” combine incredible vocal harmonies and an inventive “music without music” sound to create an unforgettable holiday concert experience.
Updated! Magic Kingdom Park Hours Extended: Magic Kingdom Park will be extending operating hours on Sun, Nov 8 and Fri, Nov 13. The park will open at 8:00am instead of 9:00am.
Reminder! Changes to Main Street U.S.A Show times: The show times for the Main Street Trolley Show and Move it! Shake it! Dance and Play it! will be adjusted Nov 9, 19, 20, 24 and 25. On these dates, The Main Street Trolley show will use the Main Street fire truck and Move it! Shake it! Dance and Play it! will occur at 12:30pm and 5:00pm.
Reminder! Disney’s Wine & Dine Half Marathon This Weekend: The runDisney Wine & Dine Half Marathon Weekend returns to Walt Disney World Nov 6-7 with a series of events leading up to the big race. The runDisney Wine & Dine Half Marathon is the only nighttime race which gives guests the opportunity to run through three Disney theme parks and finish at an exclusive Epcot after-party during the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival. On Nov. 7, Mickey’s Jingle Jungle 5k, runDisney Kids Races and the runDisney Wine & Dine Half Marathon all will take place.
Reminder! 20th Epcot International Food & Wine Festival Now Open: Each fall, Epcot transforms for the annual Epcot International Food & Wine Festival —where dozens of unique flavors and fun experiences unfold across the park. There are over Global Marketplaces where you can taste and sip small food plates and exotic drinks from all over the world. Eat to the Beat concerts bring you top names in music for free concerts (free with your Epcot admission). The Festival Center is the place to find cook book and bottle signings, culinary demonstrations and much more. This year the Festival runs Sep 25 – Nov 16!

Disney’s Hollywood Studios
New! Disney’s Hollywood Studios Hours Extended: Disney’s Hollywood Studios will be extending operating hours on Wed, Nov 11. The park will close at 8:30 pm instead of 8:00pm.
New! Club Villain Special Tickets Event Announced: Beginning January 16, 2016, Disney’s Hollywood Studios presents Club Villain, a specially ticketed dining and entertainment offering available on select nights in Sunset Showcase. Experience fabulous performances, delicious food, bewitching cocktails and enchanting encounters with some of the greatest Disney villains. Club Villain is hosted by the mysterious Dr. Facilier who welcomes his guests and friends from the other side to his parlor of mystical mishaps, with musical numbers and a wicked mix from his house DJ. Also stopping by to socialize are those divas of evil, Maleficent, Queen of Hearts, Cruella De Vil and the Evil Queen. Club Villain will be available on select nights. Reservations can be made starting Oct. 29, 2015. Club Villain takes place select evenings for $99 per person, tax and gratuity included. Reservations are recommended and can be made up to 90 days in advance online or by calling 407-939-3463. A separate ticket for admission to Disney’s Hollywood Studios is required.

Osborne Family Spectacle of Dancing Lights Under Way: Now open in “soft opening,” The Osborne Family Spectacle of Dancing Lights are twinkling nightly at Disney’s Hollywood Studios on the Streets of America from dusk to park close. As a reminder, this will be the final year for The Osborne Family Spectacle of Dancing Lights.
New! Specialty Pumpkin Cupcakes: A new specialty cupcake is now available at several Disney’s Hollywood Studios locations. The new cupcake is a pumpkin cake frosted with maple frosting and topped off with a pilgrim Mickey hat. This special cupcake will be available at Trolley Car Cafe, ABC Commissary, Backlot Express, Fairfax Faire, Pizza Planet, Starring Rolls Cafe and Studio Catering Co. The Pumpkin cupcake is included in the Disney Dining plan and will be available through Nov. 30.

New! Frozen -themed Gingerbread Display Returns to Disney’s Contemporary Resort: This year will be the second year the Grand Canyon Concourse of Disney’s Contemporary Resort will be host a Frozen-themed gingerbread display. Opening on Nov 12, the display will be accompanied by sweet treats available for purchase every day 10am – 10pm through January 5.
New! Cupcake of the Month at Disney’s Contemporary Resort: Contempo Cafe has a new cupcake of the month. This month, it’s the Cherry Pie cupcake, which is a vanilla cupcake with cherry pie filling and cinnamon cream cheese buttercream, and garnished with streusel, raspberry powder and a cherry on top. This cupcake will be available Nov 1- 28.
New! ESPN Club at Disney’s BoardWalk Gets New Menu Items: The menu at ESPN Club on Disney’s BoardWalk has undergone a major makeover featuring several new dishes, giving the new menu a gastropub feel—bar favorites with an upscale twist. Some of the new starters include
- Bar Flats (the ESPN version of a flatbread with caramelized onion, bacon and beer-cheese fondue; tuna tartare; traditional margarita (mozzarella, tomato and basil); Mediterranean, and the seasonal flat.
- Club Fries – chunky steak fries topped with ESPN chili, Cheddar and ale fondue, crumbled blue cheese, marinated tomatoes, crispy pancetta and green onion. Plenty to share.
New Entrees include:
- Turkey Carver sandwich with roasted turkey breast, smoke Gouda, maple aioli, tomato and bitter greens.
- Seafood mac & cheese made with seasonal seafood and citrus gremolata.
- Sustainable catch with market vegetables.
- Petite top sirloin and grilled langostinos with house-made mac & cheese, Cabernet butter and market vegetables.
- Coffee-brined BBQ-spiced pork chop with fried potato hash and pickled vegetables.
That’s just a sample, there are many more new items as well as over 54 craft beers and a seasonal beer menu too!

New! Reservations Now Open for New Year’s Eve Experiences: Walt Disney World is offering several meal and party options this New Year’s Eve. Atlantic Dance Hall will host a party with a big band and viewing of Epcot fireworks and a midnight toast. You can also reserve a VIP experience with a private bartender, reserved seating and a dessert bar. California Grill will offer a gala featuring food stations, complimentary bar and viewing of Magic Kingdom Park’s fireworks. Other restaurants including Chef Mickey’s, La Hacienda de San Angel, Le Cellier, Monsieur Paul, Narcoossee’s and Victoria & Albert’s will all offer special menus and seatings. World ShowPlace at Epcot will host a custom New Year’s Eve Dinner buffet including kid-friendly options, photo opportunities and more. Reservations can be made at 407-WDW-Dine.
Reminder! Shop Disney Parks App News: The free Shop Disney Parks mobile app can be used to search, locate, and purchase thousands of merchandise items offered in Disney-operated retail stores at Walt Disney World Resort. This free app is available for iPhone and smartphones for Android. With a new limited time offer, Free shipping will be offered for now through November 22, 2015 on all Shop Disney Parks standard ground Home Delivery purchases. Also, now guests visiting Walt Disney World Resort can choose Resort Hotel Delivery, Park Gate Pick-Up or Home Delivery from the Delivery Options on the Review & Purchase screen. If you choose Resort Hotel Delivery on purchases, you need to have a current Disney Resort reservation linked in My Disney Experience. Resort Delivery is a delivery option for guests until 3:00 p.m. each day. Items will be ready for pick-up at your resort the following day after 12:00 p.m. If choosing Park Gate Pick-Up as a delivery option, you need to be physically present in a theme park and the item must be available for purchase in that park. Park Gate Pick-Up orders are ready for retrieval at Park Package Pick-Up locations three hours after purchase.
New! Next Set of Hidden Mickey Pins Launches Soon: The next wave of Hidden Mickey pins for 2015 will soon be arriving at Disneyland and Walt Disney World Resorts. At Walt Disney World Resort, you’ll find items like the Mickey Mouse-inspired macaroon pins; Figment and Elliot pins in the Disney Dragon collection; and the Genie from Disney’s “Aladdin” among others. Remember, Hidden Mickey pins typically measure approximately 1.25-inches and contain small Mickey Mouse icons in the artwork. The back stamps contain the words “Hidden Mickey pin,” and the pins are usually silver in color. Happy hunting!
New! New Pandora Jewelry Coming to Disney Parks: Last year, Disney and Pandora first introduced the Disney Parks – Pandora collection at Walt Disney World and Disneyland Resorts. This year from October 29-31, there was a special release party at the Marketplace Co-Op in Disney Springs Marketplace where two limited release charms first became available. They are the Sparkling Mickey Portrait Head, which is a sterling silver charm with 37 clear cubic zirconia, 6 micro bead-set and 177 pavé-set black crystals, and black enamel; and the Sparkling Minnie Portrait Head, which is also a sterling silver charm with 31 clear, 6 micro bead-set, 19 pavé-set red cubic zirconia, 156 pavé-set black crystals, and black enamel. Both of these charms will only be available in select locations until December 31, 2015.
Additionally, the Minnie Sparkling Holiday Bow is a polished sterling silver charm containing 69 pavé-set red, and 36 pavé-set, dark green cubic zirconia. The Mickey Holiday Wreath is a sterling silver charm with 8 micro bead and 28 dark green cubic zirconia.
Another beautiful new charm was inspired by “Wishes” Nighttime Spectacular at Magic Kingdom Park presented by PANDORA. This sterling silver charm contains black enamel and clear cubic zirconia. Finally, Disney Parks will release sterling silver charm with shimmering blue and black enamel celebrating the 75th Anniversary of Walt Disney’s “Fantasia.” This charm is limited release and will be available while supplies last. Both the “Wishes” Nighttime Spectacular and “Fantasia” 75th Anniversary charms will be release in select Disney Parks merchandise locations on November 13. Guests using the free Shop Disney Parks app will find these two charms starting November 6.
