Magic Kingdom Park
New! Mickey’s Royal Friendship Faire coming this Summer: This summer, Mickey’s Royal Friendship Faire will make its debut on the Cinderella Castle Forecourt Stage at Magic Kingdom Park, featuring Mickey Mouse and favorite characters and songs from “The Princess and the Frog,” “Tangled” and “Frozen.” In this all-new, live stage show, Mickey and his troupe of Merry Makers play host to a joyous festival, the Royal Friendship Faire, and have ventured far and wide to invite friends from other lands to join their celebration. From the Land of the Bewitching Bayous, Goofy has invited Tiana, Naveen and Louis to add a little spice of New Orleans jazz to the party. From the Land of the Enchanted Woods, Donald Duck brings some new friends he met at the Snuggly Duckling, and Daisy introduces us to her special guests, Rapunzel and Flynn Rider. Finally, Mickey shares a surprise with Minnie, as he has traveled to the Land of the Mystic Mountains to invite Olaf, Anna and Elsa, who contributes a blast of her icy magic. To make room for this new castle stage show, Dream Along With Mickey, will have its last performance at Magic Kingdom Park on April 2.
Reminder! Temporary Changes to Parades and Shows: Due to construction work, some Magic Kingdom entertainment offerings will be impacted certain dates throughout February and March. The Main Street Trolley Show and Move it! Shake it! Dance and Play it! will be adjusted Feb. 17 and 19, as well as March 9, 11 and 15. On these dates, the Trolley Show will use the Main Street fire truck and Move it! Shake it! Dance and Play it! will be presented at 12:30 and 15:40.
New! Egg-stravaganza Returns This Spring: From March 2–27, 2016 (or while supplies last), search for special hidden “eggs” themed to Disney characters and record your discoveries by placing the corresponding sticker on the specially themed Egg-stravaganza map to represent that location. Maps and stickers can be purchased for $5.95, plus tax at the following Epcot locations – Pin Central, Port of Entry (Showcase Plaza), Heritage Manor (The American Adventure) and World Traveler (International Gateway). Remember, no discounts apply.
New! Patti LaBelle Epcot Appearance Feb. 20: The weekly author’s series celebrating Black History Month at Epcot will now include a visit from legendary Grammy-award winning singer, actress and NY Times best-selling author Patti LaBelle. She will be at the American Adventure Pavilion on February 20th from 12:30 to 1:30 pm for book signings and meet and greets with fans. The star of her own cooking television series “Pattie LaBelle’s Place,” Patti is just as captivating in the kitchen as she is on stage and has cookbooks filled with southern-style recipes.
Additionally, appearing on February 27th is Terrence Roberts, Ph.D. one of the “ Little Rock Nine”, a group of history-making African-American students who, in 1957 were the first black students ever to attend classes at Little Rock Central High School in Little Rock, Arkansas. Dr. Roberts, who was awarded the Congressional Gold Medal in 1999 wrote “Lessons from Little Rock” a memoir of his experience during the integration of the school. His book signing sessions are 1:00 – 2:00 pm and 3:00 – 4:00 pm.
Disney’s Hollywood Studios
New! Two New Character Experiences Coming Soon: Two new character greeting experiences debut this spring at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Coming to the Echo Lake district at Disney’s Hollywood Studios is the all-new Celebrity Spotlight, the perfect place for a dream encounter with one of Disney’s latest stars. At opening, you are invited into the Celebrity Spotlight to meet lovable snowman Olaf, from Disney’s blockbuster film “Frozen.” Also opening this spring is “Mickey and Minnie Starring in Red Carpet Dreams,” located just off Commissary Lane near the Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater Restaurant. Here you can join Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse, as they’re living the dream as A-list Hollywood stars.
New! Additional Dates Now Available for Club Villain: Due to overwhelming popularity, reservations for Club Villain at Sunset Showcase at Disney’s Hollywood Studioshave been extended into March 2016. Don’t miss your opportunity to take in the fabulous entertainment hosted by Dr. Facillier, with special appearances by four wickedly wonderful villains. This event includes an all-you-care-to-enjoy New Orleans-style buffet including deviously delicious desserts. Themed adult beverages are also included. Reservations for select dates in March and additional shows in February are now available, and can be made by visiting DisneyWorld.com/dine or by calling 407-WDW-DINE. A separate ticket for admission to Disney’s Hollywood Studios is required.
Disney’s Animal Kingdom
New! Menu Updates at Various Locations: The following locations have updated their menus:
- Eight Spoon Cafe, formerly known as Beastly Kiosk, has removed the jalapeño pretzel and lobster macaroni and cheese dish from the menu.
- Harambe Fruit Market has removed the jalapeño pretzel from the menu.
- Chakranadi, formerly known as Maharajah Pretzel, has removed the jalapeño pretzel from the menu.
- Churros are no longer available in the park, but are still available at many other locations throughout Walt Disney World.
New! Kali River Rapids Closure Extended: The closure time for Kali River Rapids has been extended extended into March. A reopening date has not yet been announced.
Walt Disney World Resort Hotels
New! Princess Promenade at Disney’s Grand Floridian: Cinderella host the Princess Promenade that starts in M. Mouse Mercantile shop at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. Guests ages 3–12 are invited to stroll down the grand staircase with Cinderella and participate in a waltz in the main lobby.

Reminder! WDW RunDisney Princess Half Marathon This Weekend: The Disney Princess Half Marathon Weekend presented by Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals returns to Walt Disney World Resort on February 18-21. The sold-out race is expected to draw more than 50,000 spectators and runners from the United States and several other countries around the world. This race weekend features Princess-themed entertainment and a health and fitness expo designed with the female runner in mind. The schedule is as follows:

- February 19-20 Disney Princess Half Marathon Weekend Breakfast at Epcot
- February 19-20: runDisney Kids Races, Pasta in the Park Party at Epcot

February 4 – 29: Representatives from Precious Moments dolls will be on hand for the release of their new Valentine inspired collection, among other fan favorites, throughout the day, each day, at Marketplace Fun Finds in Disney Springs Marketplace. Tip: Doll Designer Linda Rick will make a special appearance February 19 – 21.
February 14 – 17 and February 19 – 21: Be sure to stop by and check out the latest releases of handmade bath and body products from Rinse. Representatives will be on hand throughout the day, each day at Heritage Manor in The American Adventure Pavilion.
February 18 – 21: Geir Ness will be on hand for a special appearance as he showcases the latest from his Laila fragrance and beauty collection. Meet Geir at The Puffin’s Roost in the Norway Pavilion at World Showcase.
February 19 – 20: Meet Kit Heath representative Mary Finnegan from 2- 7 p.m. and learn more about the beautiful, classic and contemporary British Jewelry Designer and the stunning jewelry designs available at The Queen’s Table in the United Kingdom Pavilion at World Showcase.
February 19 – 21: Look for the release of Star Wars-themed art from ACME Artist Brian Rood, who will appear from 2 – 5 p.m. at Watto’s Grotto in Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Note: Not able to make it to the park? Brian will also be appearing at Star Wars Galactic Outpost (previously D-Street) in Disney Springs West Side.
February 20: Meet artist Jasmine Becket-Griffith who will be on hand showcasing some of her newest releases, among other favorites, from 4 – 8 p.m. in WonderGround Gallery at Marketplace Co-Op.
February 24 – 28: Check out the latest releases from artist Greg McCullough appearing at Art of Disney from 1 – 8 p.m., each day.
New! Star Wars – themed ALEX AND ANI Bangles: Launching February 15 are expandable wire bangles featuring classic Star Wars characters and phrases including Yoda, “Do Or Do Not… There Is No Try,” and Princess Leia and Han Solo, “I Love You. I Know.” Both of these pieces will come in RAFAELIAN GOLD and RAFAELIAN SILVER finishes. releasing the same day is a buffed epoxy expandable wire bangle featuring one of the most famous lines of all, “May The Force Be With You,” in Shiny Silver and Shiny Gold finishes.
New! Disney Princess Half Marathon Merchandise: Per the Disney’s Parks Blog, the Disney Princess Half Marathon Weekend returns to Walt Disney World Resort from February 18-21, 2016. With it comes several new commemorative products created especially for the event. Disney is offering returning favorites including long and short-sleeved apparel for both the overall weekend, Princess Half Marathon and Glass Slipper Challenge. These items include “I Did It” shirts, drinkware, Sweaty Bands, Bondi Bands, collectible pins, car magnets and more. Guests will also find shirts and car magnets for both the Disney Princess 5K and the Disney Princess Enchanted 10K races. There are a few new art programs this year including artwork titled “Run Princess Run” that’s included on apparel and accessories. Another art program, “Run Like the Princess You Are,” has stylized buildings of famous Disney Princesses. This merchandise is available at the runDisney Health & Fitness Expo at ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex next weekend. The ever popular Dooney & Bourke bags will be available at the Expo too.
