Update! “Mickey’s Royal Friendship Faire” Debuted June 17: Mickey Mouse and his friends welcomed favorite characters from some of Disney’s newest classics in “Mickey’s Royal Friendship Faire!” “Mickey’s Royal Friendship Faire” brings to life beloved Disney stories both classic and contemporary in a spectacular performance featuring an original song, memorable music, lively dancing, delightful costumes and special effects magic. Mickey and his troupe of Merry Makers have invited friends from other lands to join them in a grand celebration. So in addition to favorites like Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, Daisy Duck and Goofy, the show also brings together a wonderful cast of characters from some of Disney’s newest classics: “Frozen,” “Tangled” and “The Princess and the Frog.” “Mickey’s Royal Friendship Faire” celebrates the unique stories of the citizens who make up this magical kingdom and the wonderful things that can happen when we try new things, go to new places and get to know new friends.
Reminder! Advance Reservations Now Available at Jungle Skipper Canteen: Advance reservations for lunch and dinner are now available at Jungle Skipper Canteen, the newest table service restaurant at Magic Kingdom Park.
Reminder! Temporary Changes to Parades and Shows: Some Magic Kingdom entertainment offerings will be impacted certain dates throughout spring. The Main Street Trolley Show and Move it! Shake it! Dance and Play it! will be adjusted June 21, 23 and 27. On these dates and Move it! Shake it! Dance and Play it! will be presented at 12:30 and 5:40.
New! Les Parfaits Inconnus Now Performing in Canada: Les Parfaits Inconnus combine music, circus art and comedy to create unforgettable shows on The Mill Stage in Canada. Hailing from Québec, the talented artists and athletes of Les Parfaits Inconnus demonstrate a mastery of several circus disciplines as well as proficiency with musical instruments. Guests can enjoy the group’s off-the-wall performances daily through the summer.
Reminder! Soarin’ Around The World Debuted Last Week: Flights on Soarin’ Around the World began departing beginning June 17 from both Disney California Adventure park at the Disneyland Resort, and Epcot at Walt Disney World Resort, one day after Soaring Over the Horizon debuted at the grand opening of Shanghai Disneyland on June 16.

Reminder! Sounds Like Summer Concert Series Started June 5: Get ready for another rocking rendezvous—the fun begins at America Gardens Theatre in June with the Sounds Like Summer Concert Series. Featuring renditions of songs from Boston and the Eagles to covers of classics by Tina Turner, Bruce Springsteen and the Bee Gees, Sounds Like Summer is a cover-band blast from the past that’s fun for the whole family. The summer concerts for the upcoming week include:
- June 19-24: Rumours – A Fleetwood Mac Tribute Band
- June 25-July 1: Simply Tina – A Tribute to Tina Turner

Update! ‘Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular’ Fireworks Debuted June 17: Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular,’ which is the most elaborate fireworks display in this park’s history, began nightly performances on June 17. This elaborate show will combine fireworks, pyrotechnics, special effects and video projections that will turn the park’s Chinese Theater and other buildings into the twin suns of Tatooine, a field of battle droids, the trench of the Death Star, Starkiller Base and other Star Wars destinations. And the show, which will feature music from throughout the film franchise, will be punctuated with a tower of fire and a spotlight beam, creating a massive lightsaber in the sky.

Finding Dory Specialty Cupcake Now Available: A sweet blueberry Finding Dory specialty cupcake with vanilla frosting is available now through Jun 30 at the following locations: Fairfax Fare, Rosie’s All-American Café, Starring Rolls Café and Trolley Car Café. This cupcake is included in the Disney Dining Plan.

New! Sammy Duvall’s Now on Summer Hours: Sammy Duvall’s at Disney’s Contemporary Resort will now open from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. through Labor Day, Sept. 5.
New! Homecoming: Florida Kitchen and Shine Bar Gets Ready to Open at Disney Springs: The new Homecoming: Florida Kitchen and Shine Bar restaurant at Disney Springs is getting ready for a summer opening. Celebrity Chef Art Smith is a native of Jasper, Fla., and his restaurant will give guests a taste of classic Florida fare – Fried Green tomatoes with Shaved Country Ham, Iron Skillet Sweet Potatoes with Caramelized Sugar and his signature Fried Chicken and Doughnuts. In the Southern Shine bar, nearly a dozen Florida-centric drinks will be served including distilled spirits made here in the Sunshine State as well as farm-fresh herbs, vodka from Winter Park Distilling, and craft beer from Crooked Can in nearby Winter Garden.

New! Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique Now Open in New Location: Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique at Disney Springs has moved to a new location in the Marketplace near Once Upon A Toy. The new Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique is themed as a country parlor and includes an expanded salon, uniquely designed photo room and new interactive elements throughout the Boutique.
June 3 – 27: Representatives from Precious Moments dolls will be on hand this month as they showcase, you guessed it, fan favorite dolls from the collection. In addition to your favorite classics, this month Precious Moments will showcase the special wedding inspired “Happily Ever After” collection. Find them throughout the day, each day at Marketplace Fun Finds in Disney Springs Marketplace.
June 22 – 26: Artist David E. Doss returns to the Art of Disney in Disney Springs Marketplace. Meet David and see his collection of artwork from 1 – 9 p.m., each day.
June 25: Add the out-of-this-world hand-painted, limited-edition Ink & Paint cel Stitch Escapes to your collection! Take advantage of a special pre-purchase opportunity now through June 23 at 5 p.m. EST by visiting www.disneyurl.com/CelPreOrder. You can also look for the cel in stores and meet the Ink & Paint artists as part of a special signing June 25 from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. at Stage 1 Company Store.
June 21 – 23: Fragrance designer Geir Ness will be on hand for special appearances as he showcases the latest from his Laila fragrance and beauty collection. Meet Geir from 5 – 9 p.m., each day, in Summer Lace at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa.
