Magic Kingdom Park
New! Minnie Mouse Transformation at Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique: This Halloween season, the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique will offer a Minnie Mouse “witch”-inspired look. The Halloween Minnie Mouse transformation package includes your choice of boutique hairstyling, shimmering makeup, face gems, nail polish, a Princess sash and cinch sack, plus the Halloween Minnie Mouse costume and matching headband. Reminder: Transformations are only available for children ages 3–12. This experience is available while supplies last or until Nov 1 inside Cinderella Castle at Magic Kingdom Park or at World of Disney Store in Downtown Disney Marketplace.
New! Mickey’s Not-so-Scary Halloween Party Under Way: The Halloween season officially begins at Walt Disney World Resort when the first Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party kicks off at Magic Kingdom Park. And the first party took place on September 15th! This year, Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party will feature the new stage show, “Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular,” as well as returning favorites, like Mickey’s “Boo-To-You” Parade and “Happy HalloWishes” Fireworks. Disney characters will be dressed in their Halloween costumes. There are other fun photo opps with all Seven Dwarfs, appearances by Jack and Sally from Tim Burton’s “The Nightmare Before Christmas” and Lotso from “Toy Story 3” in Tomorrowland. Guests are welcomed to dress in costume and go trick-or-treating throughout the park. Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is a special event, separate from regular Magic Kingdom Park admission. Tickets are still available for most event nights through November 1. October 31st is sold out.
Reminder! Epcot International Food & Wine Festival Starts Sep. 25: Each fall, Epcot transforms for the annual Epcot International Food & Wine Festival —where dozens of unique flavors and fun experiences unfold across the park. There are over Global Marketplaces where you can taste and sip small food plates and exotic drinks from all over the world. Eat to the Beat concerts bring you top names in music for free concerts (free with your Epcot admission). The Festival Center is the place to find cook book and bottle signings, culinary demonstrations and much more. This year the Festival runs Sep 25 – Nov 16!
Disney’s Hollywood Studios
New! 2015 Last Year for The Osborne Family Spectacle of Dancing Lights: After 20 years, this holiday season will mark the finale for The Osborne Family Spectacle of Dancing Lights. The display of lights has enjoyed a successful run at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, going all the way back to when it first appeared on Residential Street. Disney has announced that in order to prepare for some incredible experiences coming to the park, including the recently announced Toy Story Land and a Star Wars-themed land, they will not be able to present The Osborne Family Spectacle of Dancing Lights in the future.
New! Two New Premium Experiences Available at The Osborne Family Spectacle of Dancing Lights: Two options for holiday fun at Walt Disney World Resort are now available to book: the Merry & Bright Dessert Party (Nov. 6-Dec. 30) and the Merry & Bright Dinner Reception (Jan. 1- 3), both overlooking The Osborne Family Spectacle of Dancing Lights at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. With the dessert party, guests will enjoy holiday-themed desserts while surrounded by the amazing light display. Tickets can be purchased for can be purchased for $69 per adult or $39 for children (ages 3 to 9), tax and gratuity included. Advanced reservations are recommended.
New for 2015 is a dinner reception Jan. 1 – 3, featuring a selection of small bites including beef, shrimp and turkey, plus wine, beer and specialty beverages. The Merry & Bright Dinner Reception at Disney’s Hollywood Studios will be available for 3 nights only—from January 1 to January 3, 2016—and can be purchased for $99 per adult or $54 for children (ages 3 to 9), tax and gratuity included.
Please note that separate admission to Disney’s Hollywood Studios is required and is not included in the dessert party or the dinner reception ticket price.

New! Park Hours Extended Sep. 20th: Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park will be open until 6pm on September 20, 2015.

New! Narcoossee’s at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort Now Offers Sunday Brunch: You can now enjoy Sunday brunch at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort at with panoramic views of Seven Seas Lagoon. Relax and relish sophisticated flavors at Narcoossee’s Waterfront Brunch, which will take place Sunday mornings, beginning November 22. The Disney Parks Blog describes the brunch as follows: Brunch begins with a specialty beverage—Champagne, Mimosa, or signature Bloody Mary for adults, a smoothie for children. A shared pastry basket is filled with house-made chocolate and traditional croissants, muffins, Danish, pecan sticky buns, Vermont cultured butter and seasonal jam. Enjoy your choice of appetizer: Onion Soup Graitnee, Shrimp and Grits, Seafood Charcuterie, Artisanal Cheese Selection or Romaine Salad. For entrees, look for traditional brunch favorites, with a refined twist: Brioche French Toast, Lobster Eggs Benedict, Chicken and Waffles, Freshly Caught Seasonal Fish, Steak and Eggs and more. Complete your meal with a sweet ending—a trio of desserts. Cost is $69 for adults, $41 for children, age 3-9.
New! Marina Hours Change at Disney’s Contemporary Resort: From September 7 through March 19, 2016, the marina hours will be 11am – 5pm.
Reminder! Contempo Cafe Cupcake of the Month at Disney’s Contemporary Resort: This month’s cupcake of the month is Praline Pumpkin Cupcake, which is a pumpkin spice cupcake with praline cream filling and chocolate meringue buttercream frosting. It’s garnished with cocoa nibs, yellow crystal sugar, drizzled caramel and a fondant pumpkin. It’s available Aug 30-Oct 3.
Reminder! Martha’s Vineyard Wine Pairings Return to Disney’s Beach Club Resort: These popular pairings are returning on select dates this summer and fall. The intimate event is a foodie’s dream – a wine expert from the winery and a Disney chef guide guests through the tasting, detailing the notes of each pairing. The following dates currently scheduled to take place from 2-3 p.m.
- September 26 – Ironstone Vineyard
- October 17 – Napa Smith (The only brewery in Napa Valley, CA)
- November 7 – To Be Determined

Reminder! Courtyard Pool Bar and Beaches Pool Bar & Grill Hours Change at Disney’s Grand Floridian: Starting October 4, Courtyard Pool Bar and Beaches Pool Bar & Grill will have new hours associated with the pool hours. Food service at Beaches Pool Bar and Grill will end 2-3 hours before the pool is scheduled to close, and both will close one hour prior to pool close.

New! Pedestrian Bridge Now Open at Disney Springs: September 14, 2015 was the official grand opening for the first of two pedestrian bridges crossing over Buena Vista Drive at Disney Springs (formerly known as Downtown Disney). These elevated crosswalks extend across Buena Vista Drive, which is the main roadway through the Disney Springs / Downtown Disney area. A second pedestrian bridge, located near Hotel Plaza Boulevard, will open in the future.
New! Opening Date Set for Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar at Disney Springs: Themed around Jock Lindsey, a the pilot from the “Indiana Jones” films, the aviation-themed lounge will feature unique drinks and small plates. The opening date is set for September 22, 2015!
